Long Business Description

That's right, the guy that lived like a king on Australia's Gold Coast then moved over to Pattaya in Thailand almost 20 years is now sharing his share trading endeavors online on his Facebook page. From the man that has done more good for Thailand's street dogs than just about any other person on the face of this world.

When he is not feeding the dogs he is at his penthouse desk in Pattaya trading Australian stocks. Tim mainly focus's on the ASX 50 stocks and has a bit of a core portfolio, then he trades additional positions in these stocks to generate a greater income than just holding for dividends.

His strategy, he reveals is just buying any of these "good profitable business's" on down days, then selling them when they go up. But only when they go up a little bit (usually a percent or two) cause he says most traders lose because they are greedy.

Obviously this method is somewhat floored in that when the market starts having a real correction into a bear market he will have bought everything he can (as everything will be "down heaps") and end up with all his equity essentially tied up and just waiting for any gain to then sell any of his positions.

The valid risk in this strategy is that it could take a very long time for these stocks to then get back to those levels that he purchased at. Possibly even years and some will never get back to those levels ever too. But if he can ride out this holding "pain" there is at least some method to this trading.

Tim posts fairly regularly about his trades. Mostly they come off as bragging from a new comer to our industry but there is some good information he does share from his perspective that is worth at least listening too.

He is a big proponent of living in Thailand and paying very little taxes. All legally of course based on the advice he has obtained.

At any one time Tim Ward has around $2.5m tied up in ASX stocks. His net worth is estimated to be about $4m.
